The organza is sheer and holds its own volume, so the bishop shape stays full without any structure inside it. Each sleeve gathers into a soft ruffled edge at the top and again at the cuff, and long satin ribbons at both ends tie into bows so you can set how high they sit and how close they hold at the wrist. They are cut to sit off the shoulder, which leaves the collarbone bare and the arm covered. Worn with the Eclipse Dress they complete the look they were cut for, but they work the same way over any bustier, slip dress or gown that needs volume and a sleeve.
