White floral lace opera gloves that reach above the elbow, sheer and full-fingered, finished with an eyelash-fringe edge at the top opening.

Etherea is the ivory side of the Baroque line, cut from the same delicate floral lace as the Etherea cape. The lace is unlined, so it wears like a second skin: the floral pattern sits on the arm while the fine net disappears against it. Worn with the Lucentia corset dress and the Etherea cape it completes the look. Against a lace-up corset it softens the structure without adding weight.

Details

  • White floral lace with soft stretch
  • Opera-length silhouette that extends above the elbow
  • Eyelash-fringe scalloped edge at the top opening
  • Sheer and unlined for a second-skin fit
  • Full-fingered
  • One size, the stretch lace adjusts to the arm
  • Part of the Etherea line, designed with the Etherea cape
  • Limited edition, handcrafted and made to order
  • Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry

Wear them with the Lucentia corset dress and the Etherea cape, pearls at the throat and nothing else competing. This is the look they were designed for.
Against a dark corset the white lace reads as contrast rather than sweetness, which is the easiest way to take them out of the wedding context.
Under a sharply tailored blazer with the lace showing past the cuff, worn with wide-leg trousers.
With a sheer organza skirt or trousers, keeping the whole look in one tone so the texture does the work.
