The Moonveil Robe is a floor-length wrap robe in ivory satin jacquard, with long silk fringe falling from the cuff of each wide sleeve.
The floral is woven into the cloth rather than printed on it, so on ivory it reads almost as light rather than pattern, surfacing only where the satin turns. An elongated shawl collar runs the full length of the front. The sleeves are cut wide and finished with fringe that moves a beat behind the arm. Two belts come with the robe, and they make it two garments: a long fluid sash for a loose columnar line, or a wide wrap belt in the Asian tradition, tapering into ties, that draws the waist in and turns the robe into a dress.
Open over trousers it works as a duster coat. Wrapped and belted it holds a room. Handcrafted in limited numbers.
