Size Guide
The Tenebrae Robe is a floor-length wrap robe in black satin jacquard, woven with a tonal floral that only shows itself when the light moves across it.
The motif is made in the weave rather than printed on top, so the flowers read as texture first and pattern second. An elongated shawl collar runs the length of the front, and the sleeves are cut wide and long enough to fall in a clean line when the arms are down. Two belts come with the robe, so it reads as two different garments: a long sash finished in silk fringe, which hangs down the front and moves as you walk, or a wide wrap belt in the Asian tradition that pulls the waist in and turns the robe into a dress.
Worn open over trousers it behaves like a duster coat. Wrapped and belted it holds an evening on its own. Handcrafted in limited numbers.
