A two-piece silk pajama set in a dark garden print of magnolias, red apples and coiling serpents, cut as a wrap top with flared sleeves and wide-leg trousers.
The print is the whole argument. Cream magnolias open against a near-black ground, dark red blooms sit heavy on the branch, and between them green serpents move through the leaves with red markings down the spine. Red apples hang where you expect them to. It is the garden of Eden read as a still life, painted rather than photographed, and at full scale a single branch runs the length of a trouser leg.
The top wraps rather than buttons. It crosses to a deep V under a narrow stand collar and ties with its own sash at the side waist, the ends left long. The sleeves are cut wide and flare open at the wrist. The trousers sit high, fall wide, and gather softly at the ankle, so the silhouette narrows at the very end. Worn together it reads as loungewear. Worn with a heel, the trousers do not.
