A two-piece silk pajama set printed with oversized lilies in blush, apricot and deep plum, cut as a tie-front shirt and full-length wide-leg trousers.

The print is photographic rather than drawn: lilies enlarged past the edge of the frame and thrown slightly out of focus, so the colour bleeds from blush into cream, apricot and aubergine with cool slate and green running through the stems. On silk it moves, and the blur reads as light rather than pattern.

The shirt does not button. A soft collar opens into a deep V and the two front panels gather into a single knot at the waist, the ties left long, so you decide how open it sits. The sleeves are full and finish in a buttoned cuff. The trousers sit high, fall wide and straight to an open hem, and carry the same lilies at full scale down the leg. Worn together it is a set. Worn apart, the shirt ties over a swimsuit and the trousers take a heel.
